Among the three more detailed described portable ice rink systems there are further technologies which does not play a significant role on the according market.

To begin with, there is a slab-built aluminum technology. The portable ice rink system is principally used for the “Holiday on Ice” – Shows. Due to this fact, the systems ice-quality has to be good. But the acquisition expenses must be high because of the quantity of required aluminum. There is a big secret about functionality of the system, even experts in the field did not know about. The equipment is not getting officially distributed.

A further ice rink aluminum piping system was applied earlier than the fold-out aluminum ice rink system. The systems design is basically the same than the fold-out system but the piping is getting fixed by plugging the tubes.

Another patented ice rink system named ICEGRID has been invented by a company which is actually business located in Germany. The technical mode of operating based on PE finned piping, integrated in a PE reticule. Due to reasons of quality and price performance ratio, the system does not get further commented here. Anyway the ICEGRID-System is origin designed for permanent installed ice-rinks.

Surely there are some few more insignificant portable ice rink systems available. But these are more or less homemade technological solutions.
