Ice rink constructions basically vary in regard of operating conditions, either portable or permanent application.

3. 3.Instead of concrete, bitumen can be used as top layer of the foundation. In summertime to favor for inline-hockey, because inline skates have lots more grip on bitumen than on concrete which mostly is real slippery to skate on.
   

A portable ice rink construction is also a good solution for keeping existing facilities in use, which permanent cooling system has broken down unable to repair.
